చదువనివా దజ్ఞుండగుŌ
జదివిన సదసద్వివేక చతురత గలుగున్
జదువగ వలయును జనులకుం
జదివించెద నార్యులొద్ద జదువుము తoడ్రీ!
భావం: కుమారా! చదువుకోని వాడు జ్ఞానం లేని వాడవుతాడు. చదువుకుంటే ఏది మంచో, ఏది చెడో తెలుసుకునే జ్ఞానం నేర్పు వస్తుంది. కాబట్టి అందరూ తప్పనిసరిగా చదువుకోవాలి. నిన్ను గొప్పవారైన పండితులు, గురువుల వద్ద చదివిస్తాను. చదువుకో

Emotion: Kumara! The uneducated become ignorant. If you study, you will get the knowledge and skill to know what is good and what is bad. So everyone must read(study). If I became educated though I take knowledge form great scholars and gurus.

జలయుతులకు దుర్బలులకు
బలమెవ్వడు నీకు నాకు బ్రహ్మాదులకున్
బలమెవ్వడు ప్రాణులకును
జలమెవ్వం డట్టి విభుడు బలమసురేంద్రా!
భావం: ఓ రాక్షసేంద్రా! లోకంలో ఉన్న బలవంతులకు బలం లేని వారికి, నీకు, బ్రహ్మ మొదలగు దేవతలకు, సృష్టిలోని సమస్త ప్రాణులకు ఎవరు బలమో ఆ ఈశ్వరుడే నాకు కూడా బలం.
Bhāvaṁ: Ō rākṣasēndrā! Lōkanlō unna balavantulaku balaṁ lēni vāriki, nīku, brahma modalagu dēvatalaku, sr̥ṣṭilōni samasta prāṇulaku evaru balamō ā īśvaruḍē nāku kūḍā balaṁ.
Feeling: O monster! For those who are not strong enough for the forces in the world, for you, for the gods like Brahma, for all the creatures in creation, whoever is strong, that God is also strong for me.

పరహితము సేయునెవ్వరు
పరమహితుండుగును భూత పంచకమునకున్
బరహితమె పరమ ధర్మము
పరహితునకు నెదురులేదు పర్వేందుముఖీ!
భావం: పౌర్ణమి నాడు ఉండే చంద్రునిలాగా ముఖము కలదానా! ప్రక్కవారికి మేలు చేసేవాడు సృష్టిలోని పంచభూతాలకు, అన్ని జీవరాశులకు మిక్కిలి హితుడవుతాడు. పరులకు చేసే మేలే మనల్ని కాపాడుతుంది. ఇతరులకు మేలు చేయుట అనేది గొప్ప ధర్మం. ఈ విధంగా ఇతరులకు మేలు చేసే వారికి ప్రపంచంలో ఎక్కడా ఎదురుండదు
Bhāvaṁ: Paurṇami nāḍu uṇḍē candrunilāgā mukhamu kaladānā! Prakkavāriki mēlu cēsēvāḍu sr̥ṣṭilōni pan̄cabhūtālaku, anni jīvarāśulaku mikkili hituḍavutāḍu. Parulaku cēsē mēlē manalni kāpāḍutundi. Feeling: Do you have a face like the full moon? The one who does good to his neighbor becomes the greatest possessor of the five elements of creation, all living beings. It protects us from harm. Doing good to others is a great virtue. Those who do good to others in this way are nowhere to be found in the world

బ్రతుకవచ్చుగాక బహు బంధనములైన
వచ్చుగాక లేమి వచ్చుగాక
జీవధనములైన జెడుగాక పడుగాక
మాట దిరుగలేదు మానధనులు
భావం: మాటమీద నిలబడే వారు ఎటువంటి కష్టం ఎదురైనా ఇచ్చిన మాట తప్పరు. వారికి అనేక కష్టాలు ఎదురైనప్పటికీ, సంపదలన్నీ పోయినా, పేదరికం వచ్చినా, ఉన్న ధనం అంతా పొయి జీవితం దుర్లభమైన పరిస్థితిలో పడినా మానధనులు ఎటువంటి పరిస్థితిలో కూడా మాట తప్పరు
Bhāvaṁ: Māṭamīda nilabaḍē vāru eṭuvaṇṭi kaṣṭaṁ edurainā iccina māṭa tapparu. Vāriki anēka kaṣṭālu edurainappaṭikī, sampadalannī pōyinā, pēdarikaṁ vaccinā, unna dhanaṁ antā poyi jīvitaṁ durlabhamaina paristhitilō paḍinā mānadhanulu eṭuvaṇṭi paristhitilō kūḍā māṭa tapparu
Emotion: Those who stand by their word will not miss a word given in the face of any difficulty. Despite their many hardships, all their wealth, all their poverty, all their lives are in dire straits.

అన్నమైనఁ దక్రమైన దోయంబైన
శాకమైనఁ దనకు జరుగుకొలది
నతిథిజనుల కడ్డమాడక మిడలేని
లేమ! వారు కలిగిలేనివారు
భావం: ఇంటికి వచ్చిన అతిధికి మన దగ్గర ఉన్నది ఏదైనా పెట్టి తృప్తి పరచాలి. అవి మజ్జిగైనా అన్నమైనా, నీళ్ళైనా చివరకు కూరలైనా సరే పరవాలేదు తమకు ఉన్నంతలో అతిథులకు లేదనకుండా పెట్టాలి. ఆ విధంగా పెట్టని వారు ధనవంతులైనా వారు దరిద్రులతో సమానం.
Bhāvaṁ: Iṇṭiki vaccina atidhiki mana daggara unnadi ēdainā peṭṭi tr̥pti paracāli. Avi majjigainā annamainā, nīḷḷainā civaraku kūralainā sarē paravālēdu tamaku unnantalō atithulaku lēdanakuṇḍā peṭṭāli. Ā vidhaṅgā peṭṭani vāru dhanavantulainā vāru daridrulatō samānaṁ
Emotion: The guest who comes to the house should be satisfied with whatever we have. It doesn't matter if they are buttermilk, rice, water or finally curry, they should be kept away from guests as long as they can. Those who are not put that way are rich but they are equal to the poor

అతిథి జనంబుల భక్తిన్
సతతముఁ బూజించి యుచిత సత్కారము లు
న్నతి నడుపు సజ్జనులు శా
శ్వతకీర్తులు ధరణిఁ బడయ జాలుదు రనఘా!
భావం: ఓ పుణ్యాత్ముడా! ఇంటికి వచ్చిన అతిధిని ఎల్లప్పుడూ భక్తితో పూజించి, ! తనకు తోచిన విధంగా తగిన విధంగా సత్కరించే వారు సజ్జనులు. ఈ విధంగా అతిధులను గౌరవించేవారే ఈ భూమి మీద శాశ్వతకీర్తిని, మంచి పేరును పొందుతారు.
Bhāvaṁ: Ō puṇyātmuḍā! Iṇṭiki vaccina atidhini ellappuḍū bhaktitō pūjin̄ci, ! Tanaku tōcina vidhaṅgā tagina vidhaṅgā satkarin̄cē vāru sajjanulu. Ī vidhaṅgā atidhulanu gauravin̄cēvārē ī bhūmi mīda śāśvatakīrtini, man̄ci pērunu pondutāru.
Emotion: O saint! Always worship the guest who comes home with devotion,! Gentlemen are those who honor themselves as they see fit. Those who honor their guests in this way will gain eternal glory and good name on this earth.
